Gerdau Corsa to open new plant in Mexico

The new plant, with an investment of US$600 million, will have annual capacity of 1 million tons of semi-finished steel products and 700,000 tons of structural steel products annually.
According to the company, the steel consumption per year in Brazil and Mexico is around 24.6 million tons and 17.1 million tons respectively.
