3-month aluminum on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose by 0.2% to $2,262/ton on March 12.

A report from the Australian Department of Industry estimates that in the 2023/24 fiscal year, Australia’s exports of primary aluminum, alumina, and bauxite will reach about US$16 billion.

Meanwhile, the Australian annual output of bauxite is predicted to exceed 100 million tons. Among them, about 98% are sold to China. Therefore, investors will continue to observe China’s subsequent demand.
