According to the market on June 9th, the market futures price of nickel on the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed US$18,136/barrel, increased by over 1% in a trading day.

The main reason for the strong market price was benefited by the hot demand in China, which also showed in a low inventory level.

In the first 9 days in June of 2021, the nickel futures price in the LME has shown a total US$23/ton increment.
