According to statistics, JSW Steel’s crude steel output totaled around 1.37 million tons in April, sliding by 5% compared to the previous month. The decrease was due to the oxygen diversion for medical treatment.

It was understood that JSW Steel diverted more than 20,000 tons of liquid oxygen for the treatment of COVID-19 patients in April.

During the period, JSW Steel’s average plant capacity utilization was 91%, down by 5.2% compared to the previous month.
