According to the report, Turkey exported roughly 120,000 tons of stainless steel coil in 2019, increasing by 7% from the previous year due to increased demand from EU countries, especially Italy. Italy was the major destination of Turkish stainless steel coil with around 40,000 tons, rising by 16% year on year.

During this period, Turkey imported approximately 490,000 tons of stainless steel coil, which was lower than 520,000 tons in 2018. Among them, South Korea was the main supplier country with about 210,000 tons, rising by 12% year on year.
