It was reported that ArcelorMittal, a multinational steel manufacturing corporation, invested EUR 89 million at its Florange plant in France to launch a second galvanizing line and named it Galsa 2.

The new production line would be responsible for coated steel with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons. The main target market was the automobile manufacturer, and the line was expected to be fully loaded before the end of 2020.

The new galvanizing production line was scheduled to start operation in November 2019. By then, the annual production capacity of coated steel would be increased from 500,000 tons to 1.3 million tons.
