According to statistics from Ukrainian customs, Ukraine exported 3.96 million tons of iron ore in November 2021, increasing by 18% compared to the same month a year ago. However, the export value during the period dropped by 19.7% year on year to about US$310 million.

In the first 11 months of 2021, Ukraine’s iron ore exports amounted to around 36.7 million tons, down by 2.8% year on year. The export value had a year-on-year hike of 78.7% to US$6.63 billion.

Among them, China was still the main export destination, accounting for 42.6% of Ukraine's total iron ore exports in the January-November period. The Czech Republic accounted for 9.6%, and the share of Poland was 7.8%.
