It is reported that West India Goa will gradually begin to resume production in a month, for 40 mines of the total 85 mines, after the monsoon rains ended.

Goa officials said these 40 coal mines will resume production after the end of the monsoon, and at the end of March 2017 iron ore production is expected to reach 20 million tons. The remaining 45 mines have yet to renew and approve from the Federal Bureau and Environmental Protection Department.
