According to a report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global refined nickel market had a supply surplus of 5,600 tons in March this year.

Global refined nickel production was 233,100 tons and the consumption was 227,500 tons during the period.

In March, global nickel ore production totaled 290,500 tons.
