Vale, a Brazilian magnate in the mineral industry, currently implies the inclination of dividing the copper and nickel department in the near future. Meanwhile, the enterprise is also looking for a public listing.

In fact, it wasn't the first time Vale considers to make adjustments to its copper and nickel business. Up to 2021, the company kept thinking about selling it. However, at the moment, the market's demand for copper and nickel grows stronger every single day due to the world's latest preference for green energy.

Vale already estimated in September that the global demand for nickel may increase by 44% and reach 6.2 million tons in 2030, while the demand for copper shall increase by 20% and go to 37 million tons.
