According to statistics from US Census Bureau, the US’ imports of P1020 aluminum ingot amounted to 1.68 million tons in 2021, sliding by 10.49% compared to the previous year.

In December 2021, the US imported around 149,600 tons of primary non-alloy aluminum, dropping by 12% compared to the previous month, of which imports from Canada fell by 24% to roughly 111,000 tons.

During the period, the imports of high-purity aluminum ingots from the UAE and Russia increased by 54% month on month. In the whole year of 2021, the imports of high-purity aluminum from the UAE had a year-on-year decrease of 34%.
