Recently, the surging steel prices in global steel market have boosted Taiwan's wire prices to rise sharply in domestic market since the middle of December.

In fact, since Taiwan's China Steel Corp. (CSC) has announced to remain its wire prices unchanged in the late November, most Taiwan domestic buyers were not satisfied with the new prices. Consequently, the purchase from downstream buyers has been depressed seriously.

However, Tycoons said that the company has received 3,000 tons of order volume in one short day. Moreover, the company has stopped receiving new orders currently as the billet prices have stayed in upward trend in global steel market.

Meanwhile, Quintain Steel has reported that the company would not receive any new orders, considering to fully booked schedule and the raising raw material

Also, Chun Yu, the major screw and bolt producer in Taiwan, said that the company may have some price adjustment in the December deliveries due to up material costs.
