It is reported that South Korean Hyundai Steel and Dongkuk Steel announced to start maintenance schedule in Incheon factory in November, affecting the scrap demand. However, Hyundai Steel would also import large scrap in the next few months, so that the market supply and demand was obviously showed with a gap.

Hyundai Iron will carry out a 18-day overhaul plan for 120-ton electric furnaces from November 17th to December 4th. Dongkuk Steel is also planning to start the overhaul plan for 120-ton of electric furnace at the same time.
