Posco, the world's second largest steel make, has initiated its steel operation along with constructed facility since 2007 in developing steel production network in Vietnam & Southeast Asia.

The company is planning to increase stainless steel production by 200,000 tons per year and expects to enhance the stainless steel cold rolled capacity to 285,000 tons in 2014.

This plan is set to supply efficient quantity for needs in the local market and solidify the original customer base.

Furthermore, the cooperation between Posco and Thainox Stainless Pcl has been seriously delayed by the current unsettled political situation in Thailand.
