India’s Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), the largest stainless steel producer in India, announced that its brownfield expansion plan has been approved by the board of directors, with an estimated capital expenditure (CAPEX) of INR 2,150 crore.

Among them, the annual melting capacity of this mill will be doubled to 2.1 million tons in the next 18 months, with an estimated CAPEX of INR 530 crore, which was expected to be completed by the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023.

This expansion will strengthen JSL’s ability for the service in both domestic and foreign markets.
