JSW Steel recently announced to acquire Piombino Steel from JSW Techno Projects Management Limited as its 100% subsidiary. Further, Piombino Steel will acquire Makler Private Limited from JSW Techno Projects as a wholly-owned subsidiary, and these two transactions will be completed by the end of June.

Piombino Steel is Europe's leading orbital manufacturer and located in Piombino, Tuscany Province, Italy. Its annual capacity is 320,000 tons of orbital steel, 400,000 tons of bar, and 600,000 tons of mesh, and it also has an exclusive terminal.

JSW Group acquired Piombino Steel to expand its sales territory in the Europe market.
