Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) stated that India’s iron ore exports would decrease by 32% to 80 million tons in this fiscal year (FY) compared to that of 117 million tons in previous FY.

The analyst of FIMI said that India’s government‘s policy of reduction on the export of iron ore was the main factor of the decline. But, he predicted that the policy was temporary and would be rescinded soon.
