Two Chinese coal firms are exploring in an area in Queensland in Australia, with expected reserves of coal resources around 10 billion tons.

The import of coal to China has jumped by 2.1 times to 130 million tons in 2009. This deal is linked with a domestic company in Australia so as to attend to gain markets overseas, and to seek the stable supply for Chinese companies.
