Brazil National Steel Company (CSN) planned to restart its no.3 blast furnace production in Volta Redonda plant soon.

The blast furnace has stopped operation after the accident occurred on April 25 and suspended all steel plate exports, but it was not clear when to start receiving export orders.

Meanwhile, the 3rd blast furnace accounted for 70% of the plant's capacity. According to market sources, CSN will to resume normal shipments in the domestic market in the coming days
