ArcelorMittal has just decided to close down its hot strip mill at Weirton facility, located in north of West Virginia, United State, in the mid December, announced officially.

The general manager, Brian James stated that shutting down this facility will lead the plant become a world class tin producer. However, United Steelworkers President, Mark Glyptis tried to fight company’s decision and saves some of those jobs, but he mentioned that the timing is premature to get involve too much details right now.

This termination will cause a loss of 250 hourly job and 1,000 labors become jobless.
