Global leading steel manufacturer ArcelorMittal is getting ready to restart production at its plant in Bosnia in the next few days. Output was halted in November last year due to decreasing steel demand in Europe. Besides, the plant will also resume receiving iron ore deliveries from ArcelorMittal's Prijedor mines located in northern Bosnia.

The representative of the ArcelorMittal Zenica trade union said that two of the plant's operations will restart in the coming days. The union just inked a wage agreement with management on Monday after a two-month strike.

The ArcelorMittal Zenica plant produces around 700,000 tons of liquid steel annually, with approximately 2,200 workers.
