According to the report, South Korea set the preliminary anti-dumping duties on imports of stainless steel bars from Taiwan and Italy, said by South Korean trade commission this Thursday.

It was claimed that South Korean domestic industries were impacted seriously by the imports with low prices. South Korea planned to levy 9.68% to 18.56% on stainless steel bars from Taiwan and 11.02% to 13.08% on Italy.

In 2017, Taiwanese and Italian products accounted for 16.5% of total South Korean market value, estimated to about 370 billion won.
