The Russian Federal Customs said that the exports of copper from January to October amounted to 409,200 tons, and the export volume was 2.7 times higher than the same period in 2008.

Russian copper export value from January to October was US$1.85 billion; in the same term of 2008 was US$1.07 billion.

During the first ten months of 2009, Russia exported 407,800 tons of copper to non-CIS countries, and the export value was US$1.851 billion.
