It is reported that Crusader Resources has upgraded 36 million tons iron ore by more than four times at a project in Brazil.

The junior miner said since May 2008, its wholly-owned Posse Iron Project in Brazil’s Minas Gerais had been upgraded approx. 7.7 million tons by indicated resources.

Crusader added the average grade of iron ore at Posse was 43.5 percent, which mineralization was easily upgradeable to smelter grade. The company says there are 4.83 million tons of iron ore with 47.39 percent average grade, and 31.18 million tons at 42.89 percent average grade.
