It was reported that Brazilian steelmaker CSN is going to invest US$5.81 billion through 2028 in its iron ore, steel, and cement operations.

Based on this investment, CSN projected that iron ore production should increase from between 42 and 43.5 million tons in 2024 to 68 million tons in 2028.

Also, CSN expected that its consolidated EBITDA in 2028 should reach from the current US$4 billion to US$7.75 billion, depending on the average annual 62% iron ore price ranging between US$90 and US$150 per ton and the average annual price of hot rolled steel coil ranging between US$550 and US$650 per ton.
