After Tang Eng increased the price in April, Yusco also announced the new price yesterday. The price increase from both Taiwanese companies is the same. Prices were increased by about US$50 to 80/ton. Yusco pointed out that raw material prices remains at high levels. The nickel price even reached to US$ 15, 000/ton. This is the main factor behind the price increase from Yusco in a bid to offset the high raw material costs. (Mar. 28)
