It is reported that Australian Weld Range Metals ( W.R.M.) is planning to build a new stainless steel center at US$ 500 million in Oakajee Newport where contains abundant chromium、nickel and iron ore.

The company which earlier purchased Pilbara Nickel company’s shares aimed at supplying annually 300,000 tons of refined stainless steel alloy product to Asia, US, and Europe.
