At present, the Bella group was India's largest manufacturer of aluminum, the Eddie Aluminum Inc and India aluminum industry company under the group, whose production totaled 1 million 320 thousand tons. However, this year Vedanta Resources Group's aluminum production was expected to reach 1 million 600 thousand tons, will exceed India aluminum industrial output.

Vedanta Resources Group recently released data show that the first half of the company production reached 753 thousand tons, compared with the same period last year increased by 39%, creating a record first half yield; yield growth in the first half was mainly because of the BALCO and Jharsuguda companies increased production. The current production capacity of the group was 1.6 million tons (excluding trial run capacity). According to Azit Patti expects, in the next two years, LME aluminum price would remain at US$2,000 -2,200/ton price range.
