According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), in February, the US exported around 31,000 tons of section beams, including U, I, H, L, and T section steels, soaring by 61% compared to the previous month while falling by 20% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 24,000 tons, a month-on-month surge of 100% and a year-on-year fall of 19%. Mexico ranked second with around 3,900 tons.

During the period, the export value of these products totaled roughly US$33 million, up by 58% month on month and down by 28% year on year.
