It’s reported that the US scrap export quote to Taiwan remained flat this week after rising continuously over past few weeks.

This week, the quotes of the US container HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Taiwan are at US$355/ton CFR, remaining unchanged from a week ago.

Dealers predicted that the actual transaction prices would also remain flat at US$352/ton CFR.

Meanwhile, it’s known that the US scrap export prices to Taiwan have kept rising since early July. The prices have jumped by US$15/ton.
