US decreases CRC exports in Feb m-o-m, y-o-y

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 48,000 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in February, decreasing by 35% compared to the previous month and by 19% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 32,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 42% and a year-on-year drop of 24%. Canada ranked second with nearly 16,000 tons, and the exports to other countries were relatively low.

During the period, the value generated by these exports was roughly US$64 million, down by 28% month on month and by 18% year on year.
