According to Analysis of Institutional analysis, two of the world's largest iron ore exporter, Australia and Brazil will increase the supply of about 100 million tons of iron ore each before the end of 2020.

According to the Citigroup report expects Australian iron ore transportation increases from 835 million tons this year to 9.34 tons in 2020, while Brazil's transportation rose from 371 million to 480 million tons. Therefore, global supply expects to excess from 20 million tons this year to 56 million tons in 2018.
