Tung Ho Steel Vietnam Corporation (THSVC) picked Italy Danieli to upgrade its output 600,000 tons per year rolling mill. THSVC will add an in-line water quenching system for 10-43mm diameter straight rebars in the future four months after the facility of a new bar and light-section rolling mill.

The quenching process will optimize the alloying elements in the rebar products and reach the high standard requirements of yield strength, coupled with very good weldability and better elongation.

They expected the installation and commencement were scheduled at the end of 2019.
