It is believed that the rising steel price will help Taiwan’s Tong Ho Steel to earn sales profit in the third quarter; its sales in the fourth quarter will reach their highest level in 2009.

Market analysts also expect Tong Ho's net sales profit to reach NT$2.35 to 2.45 billion in 2010.

Because of the orders released from the government's infrastructure projects and the steel demand from Typhoon Morakot's reconstruction projects, market analysts expect the demand for rebar and sections in Taiwan to increase in the last 6 months of 2009.
