Tata Steel Nederland has officially joined the Low Emission Steel Standard (LESS), an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the steel industry’s transition toward climate neutrality.

Established one year ago, LESS aims to develop standardized definitions and labeling systems for low-emission steel, helping the sector align with global decarbonization goals.

By joining the LESS, Tata Steel furthers its commitment to circular, low-carbon steel production, aiming for greater transparency and standardization in sustainable steel product assessment.
