Taiwan's HDG exports & imports decrease in Mar m-o-m

Taiwan's hot-dip galvanized steel exports in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by nearly 48% year on year, of which 67,436 tons were exported in March, a decrease of about 13% from the previous month.

The top three exporters in March were Japan, China, and Malaysia, with 12,125 tons, 11,291 tons, and 9,778 tons, respectively.

In terms of imports, due to the impact of an 83% annual decrease in Vietnam's supply in the first quarter, Taiwan's hot-dip galvanized steel imports decreased by nearly 27.6% year on year during the period, of which 9,076 tons were imported in March, a decrease of 25.6% from the previous month.

The top three importers in March were Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, with 6,589 tons, 1,597 tons, and 624 tons, respectively.
