US President Trump’s recent announcement of a reciprocal tariff policy has slowed down or suspended the progress of projects such as factory expansion in the electronics industry, directly impacting the demand for H-beams. Market participants said that the policy uncertainty has made customers cautious and wait-and-see, and construction delays may lead to a continued decline in demand.

Although the cost of scrap is stable and supports steel prices, the tariff war indirectly affects the industrial layout, and the results of government negotiations are being awaited by market players for their further response.
