Taiwanese Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd. announced to keep its prices for rebar, section steel and scrap steel flat this week. Due to international raw material price up and down sharply, the demand remained weak in Taiwan.

Feng Hsin has already unchanged the price in a row in the past five weeks since mid-July.

According to the price announcement, the price for rebar was at NT$16,800/ton; that for section steel remained at NT$21,000/ton; the purchasing price for scrap was at NT$8,400/ton. Besides, the deal price of rebar also remained stable in the range of NT$16,000~16,200/ton. Feng Hsin said that there was no US ship scrap offer this week.
