After China to cut 8 percent export tax rebate for wire rod, Taiwan screw industry has to pay much higher price for the raw material cost.

Grade K wire rod price has increased by US$30/MT from US$500/MT to US$530/MT and Grade A wire rod price upped by US$30/MT from US$530/MT to US$560/MT.

In addition, China screw industry still enjoyed a 11 percent tax rebate. This is a fatal factor that Taiwan screw industry is getting harder and harder to compete in the worldwide market.
