Recently, Chinese and Japanese exports of H section steel price have risen to over US$1,000/ton to South Korea.

The main reason is that raw material cost and basic steel cost continue to rise. As well, South Korean domestic H section steel price is predicted to rise to 1.1 million won/ton in the near future.

However a local expert forecast that if the imported H section steel price continues to rise, then the domestic H section steel selling price is going to rise 10,000 won/ton per month in the near future.
