The cold rolled steel market in Shanghai shows flat with low rate of deal-closing on july 13.

Angan’s price for CR plates in thickness 1.0mm is at US$635/mt (RMB4760/MT); for thickness 1.2 to 2.0mm, it is sold at US$627/mt (around RMB4700/mt). Traders also released that due to the restraint of steel resurces, some sizes of plates are in shortage.

The current stock of CR coils and plates is about 250,840 tons, decreased by 1880 tons compared to last week. In the past few months, the inventory has remains at the level between 220,000 to 250,000 tons. However, due to the low market demands, it is expected that the price for CR plates is very likely to go down.
