Pacific Metals Co Ltd , the biggest ferro-nickel producer in Japan, has resumed its partial production after the fatal accident that three laborers were killed in the course of work this week.

According to the company spokesman, two of its three furnaces will restart this week. Besides, Pacific Metal said that after two of its facilities resume operation, the company definitely has enough stocks for its customers.

Presently, the 60 percent of nickel product from Pacific Metals is exported to South Korea, Taiwan and China, and the remainder is for the local stainless steel makers.
