Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel (NSSC), the largest stainless producer in Japan said that it planned to expand production and sales of its FW series ferritic stainless steel products.

It’s known that the annual production of FW series ferritic stainless steel product is at around 10,000 tons since December, 2010.

NSSC planned to expand the annual production of FW series ferritic stainless steel products to 30,000 tons in the next 2~3 year and to 100,000 tons in next 5~10 years.

The company said that the FW series of ferritic stainless steel products have been promoted successfully in Japanese market and it expected to the production will have good performance in international market if the nickel prices continue to rise.
