Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless (NSSC), the largest stainless steel producer in Japan announced to leave its domestic prices for austenitic grade cold rolled coils (CRC) unchanged and raise its ferritic CRC prices for December contracts.

The company is mulling to add ¥5,000/ton on prices of ferritic grade CRC.

Meanwhile, NSSC will hike its base prices of medium plate and alloy steel plate by ¥15,000/ton as the company is expected to receive more orders in the end of this year due to increasing demands from energy and shipbuilding sectors.
