Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. (MISI), JFE Steel Corporation (JFE), and Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Co., Ltd. (SSI) have announced plans to integrate Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Co., Ltd. (TCR) and Thai Coated Steel Sheet Co., Ltd. (TCS) around October 1, 2025.

This integration is expected to improve efficiency, integrate sales and marketing, and strengthen competitiveness in productivity, quality, and delivery.

TCR, a leading cold-rolled steel producer, will take over TCS, the only electro-galvanized steel manufacturer in Thailand. Both were established in the 1990s as joint ventures between MISI, JFE, and SSI. The move solidifies their top-tier market share across hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and electro-galvanized steel sheets, ensuring a consistent, high-quality supply chain in Thailand.
