Earlier Japanese mills announced to raise their HRC export prices to Asian market for April delivery to US$700/ton FOB in line with increase of iron ore price.

However, it’s a rumor that last Friday Japan mills raised HRC price to China by another US$50/ton to US$750/ton FOB.

Taiwan traders said that Taiwan’s domestic HRC price is unlikely to fall if Japan’s HRC prices remained strong in near future.
