Indian aluminium scrap prices stayed steady, while aluminium futures dropped. The prices of Indian aluminium scrap 6063, aluminium utensil scrap, aluminium sheet cutting and aluminium wire scrap all kept stable.

However, aluminium futures prices at Indian Multi Commodity Exchange has dropped further by 3.08%. It came to Rs 146.35/kg. The US sanctions on Russian producer United Company Rusal had impacts on aluminium prices.

Aluminium prices at London Metal Exchange has decreased by 1.6% on April 25th. The metal has decreased by around 13% from the day the US gave US customers of Rusal time to cope with sanctions.
