On September 30, 2023, India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched the second anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on aluminum alloy road wheels originating in or exported from China, following the application filed by domestic companies Kosei Minda Aluminum Company Pvt. Ltd., Maxion Wheels Aluminum India Pvt. Ltd., Minda Kosei Aluminum Wheel Pvt. Ltd., and Steel Strips Wheels Ltd.

The products involved are cast aluminum alloy wheels or aluminum alloy road wheels used in motor vehicles whether or not attached with accessories, in diameters from 12 inches to 24 inches, classified under customs subheading 8708.70 and also under HS codes 87087000, 87082900, 87089900, 87149290, 87149990, and 87089400.

The period of investigation is from April 2022 to March 2023 (12 months), and the injury investigation period is 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, and the investigation period.
