The current price of carbon steel hot rolled coils with a width of 1500mm was at RMB4,000/ton. It is said that Shagang Steel may raise its hot rolled coil price for August to RMB4,200/ton ex-work.

The cold rolled coil price increased as well. Tangshan Steel’s cold rolled coils with a thickness of 1.0mm was at RMB5,050/ton, up by RMB50/ton from yesterday.

Besides, the medium plate price kept increasing by RMB30~RMB130/ton respectively. The shipping plate price rose slightly today as well. However, the galvanized steel price remained stable.
