The GI market in Taiwan has been good since the start of since February and it is not showing any signs of slowing down. Domestic suppliers are expected to raise the quotation price again for May. The price of HGI is expected to be raised by a higher margin than that of CGI. The main reason behind the rising prices is the limited domestic supply. Chung Hung Steel is expected to increase their price for HGI by about NT$2, 000/ton and the price of CGI is expected to be increased by NT$1, 500/ton. (Apr. 27)
